God created us for relationship with Him. He loves us and wants us to know Him personally.
But, God is a Holy God and the bad stuff (sin) that we do to each other and ourselves separates us from Him.
Except, God is full of grace and mercy and through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus, He forgives us and restores us to himself.
Love is always a choice, so we too must choose to receive his love and forgiveness and to live as His child.
